Professor of Middle Eastern History’s New Volume Published

Croft Professor of Middle Eastern History Vivian Ibrahim recently edited a volume of essays entitled Political Leadership, Nations and Charisma along with Margit Wunsch, a Ph.D. candidate at the London School of Economics.  A reviewer writes that the book is “a rich collection of essays, by leading academics from across the world, [which] examines in critical depth Max Weber’s concept of charismatic leadership in the context of nations.”  In addition to editing the volume, Dr. Ibrahim also contributed the chapter “Nasser and the Charisma of Language.”
