Please join the Center for Civil War Research and WAR-Net for the University of Mississippi Conference on Gender, Memory, and War in the Anglo-American World, which commemorates the 150th, 100th, and 75th Anniversaries of the U.S. Civil War, the First World War, and the Second World War. Panels will take place at Butler Auditorium on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, October 1-3, 2015. The keynote speakers will be Anne Sarah Rubin of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and Susan-Mary Grant of Newcastle University. All events are free and open to the public.
